As shown in the picture, a composite magnet is a composite magnet with three magnets arranged in different polarities on an iron plate. If a composite magnet is used instead of a single magnet, it is possible to obtain an ON area that is almost unchanged even if the detection distance changes. Moreover, the ON area can be obtained even if the detection distance becomes larger. Since the configuration of the composite magnet is closely related to the gradient of the magnetic field near the boundary of the ON area, the repeatability of the positioning of the action point is greatly improved compared with that of a monoblock magnet.
