Product Description
Metrol tool setter TM26D-2-3-02 include not only precision positioning sensors for CNC machine tools but also tool measurement systems for other CNC machines. In addition to presetting tool positions, they are used to detect wear, breakage, and to compensate for thermal displacement of the machine.
Signals are output directly from contact with the tool tip, thereby preventing false readings and ensuring high reliability.
The built-in contact switch offers high precision (repeatability of 1 μm) with no drift.
No amplifier is required, so there is no temperature deviation caused by the sensors own heat dissipation or temperature characteristics.
The dust- and water-resistant design ensures excellent durability even in environments with coolant and flying metal chips. An alarm signal is triggered in the event of overtravel.
